Created by Maestra Ronera Jassil Villanueva Quintana, Andrés Brugal rum marks the culmination of more than 130 years of experience and know-how of the Maestros Roneros who have succeeded one another at the head of the Brugal distillery.
With 130 years of exceptional know-how, the Brugal family was a pioneer in the production of rums in the Dominican Republic. In 1888, it was one of the first to build its own cellars in the country to age its rum. For five generations, the attention paid to the breeding and blending of Brugal rums has been perpetuated, transmitted by the family’s cellar masters.
Spacesheep Studio had the privilege of creating a 3D promotional film dedicated to the sumptuous Brugal rum carafe, an exceptional limited edition. This exclusive release is bottled in a hand-blown crystal decanter and presented in a custom-made cabinet, inspired by the old travel cases used by the Maestros during their expeditions. Crafted from American oak, this refined case is adorned with an iconic diamond pattern, evoking the protective net that surrounds the precious bottles of Brugal.
The film highlights the meticulousness of this artisanal work: the twin segments of the cabinet elegantly unfold to reveal the crystalline carafe, while a subtle play of mirrors creates a halo of light, magnifying the brilliance of the amber rum. These reflective surfaces are delicately engraved with a map of the world, symbolizing the journey of excellence undertaken by Don Andrés during his first trip from Spain to the Antilles.
